Seattle 2007

This Independence Day week finds us in Seattle, visiting cousins and looking forward to the Family 4th on Lake Union, a huge celebration with fireworks after dark over the water.
n
nWe’re mid-week already, and have already visited the Seattle office of Adobe (and actually did some business while there), climbed around on the Fremont Troll, had a great home cooked dinner with Cousin Mike and Patrick, drove out to the local volcano (aka Mt Ranier), and did a walking tour of Pike Place Market and Pioneer Square.
n
nTonight we’re meeting up with the rest of the cousins and family to spend the day at Gas Works Park, then we’ll bbq at Mike’s. He also has a most excellent view of Lake Union from his balcony, so that’s where we’ll all be at sundown.
n
nThe rest of the week will include spending time with Jean and Rick, then Bruce and Ann and family, and finally Wallace and Catherine.
n
nFlying home on the 8th, then picking up ShifterBoy from the kennel on the 9th, and back to the grind on Tuesday, the 9th.
