Reading and Writing

Last night was a big moment for RGJ… For the past year she has been toying with reading. Off and on she will read a few 3 letter words here and there.<br />n<br />nLast night, she decided she was interested in actually sounding out ‘CAT’ and writing the letters on paper. She did it perfectly her first try and was excited to do it again. Same success with ‘DOG’. My little baby is at the beginings of writing words based on sounding them out. <br />n<br />nShe has been able to spell and write her full name. She knows the letters by heart so it’s a bit different than actually sounding out the letters and writing them.<br />n<br />nWe are so proud of her.<br />n<br />n<br />
