Happy Holidays, 2007

Happy End of Year Holidays, everyone.<br />n<br />nWe decided to keep it home, in the camper, to spend the holiday morning instead of taking advantage of the empty house across the street, while the owners were in Reno.<br />n<br />nWe opened presents soon after waking up, though Rebecca came to us at 5:45 and asked if Santa had indeed paid a visit. Though it wasn’t light outside yet, we opened the blinds facing the house and took a look for evidence of his arrival. Lo and Behold, there on the front patio was a collection of pretty, wrapped gifts!<br />n<br />nIt was still too early, so we let her climb into bed with us and wait another 90 minutes or so. After it began to get light outside, and after mom and dad had their ritual morning cuppa joe, dad went out and started retrieving the gifts.<br />n<br />nThe big hits this year were, starting with Rebecca, a brand new big kids bike; mom got a <a href=”http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Garmin-StreetPilot-c340-GPS-Navigation-SPC340/sem/rpsm/oid/135398/catOid/-13099/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do” title=”Garmin GPS”>Garmin GPS</a> for her car, and dad got a set of <a href=”http://www.telescope.com/control/product/~category_id=binocular_standard/~pcategory=binoculars/~product_id=09353″ title=”orion binoculars”>Orion binoculars</a> for astro, as well as terrestrial, viewing.<br />n<br />nHappy Winter Solstice, all!
