Various Inspections Passed

Today, the inspector came by for a variety of areas of inspections. Plumbing inspection passed, framing, electrical, all passed. She even said that the dryer ducting can go where we wanted it to.<br />n<br />nTwo main things that were of concern: One, the furnace in the upstairs closet can’t go in the attic because of clearance issues, and two, the cleanout for the washer needs to be changed out to cast iron since it’s in the wall between the garage and the house; it’s a fire safety issue.<br />n<br />nWe’ll need to discuss our options for the furnace, either deciding on a modern wall heater, or using up closet space for it. This should really go on the list of design fubars.
