Floors, First Coat

This past Wednesday, the floor guys spent the day sanding the eucalyptus, then finally applying the first coat of polyurethane finish. Even though it’s a clear coat, ie, no stain to change the color or appearance, it sure does make a difference. It really brings out the grain and we can now really see how multicolored this species is.<br />n<br />nThe four inch planks look great, and we think this floor will go with whatever decor, colors, etc. It was a good choice.<br />n<br />nThey’ll be back on Monday to do another light sanding, then apply the second (to the last) coat of finish.
