Block of the Blogger Indeed

I recently read <a href=”http://www.gulker.com/wp/2008/07/14/blogger-block/” title=”gulker.com”>a buddy’s post</a> that talks about wanting to write the perfect entry into his blog on lots of things that cross his mind. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.<br />n<br />nFor those (two?) of you who actually read my posts here, you may have noticed it’s been a while since I’ve posted. In fact, truth be told, many of the posts that went up lately have been backdated to look like they were timely comments to recently happenings.<br />n<br />nI, too, have been afflicted with blogger’s block. Lots of things cross my mind that I’d love to jot down. But I’d also love to lay down some of the best electronic ink about those topics, which does cause me to set the bar too high. Then time passes, and nothing gets written. The do nothingness gains strength and finally, I become ashamed to even open the admin panel of the blog, not wanting to see how long it’s been since I last posted. And also to be reminded of those unfinished drafts! Oh my!<br />n<br />nI’ve been doing a bit better lately, and I’ve gained a bit of momentum. While reminding myself that short posts are ok too, you should see a bit more activity here over the coming weeks and months. Especially since the boy is nearly here!
