Our Boy is Here

Healthy, he’s all there, everyone is happy and mama is resting comfortably.<br />n<br />nWe still don’t have a name 100% picked out, but we do have other vital facts. He weighed in at 8 lbs, 3.5 ounces and 21 inches long and he cried, just a little bit, soon after he was on the exam table. Like his sister, he was very alert, looking around at everything and everyone for the first 30 or 45 minutes after entering this world. Since then, he’s also been resting comfortably, taking a long, well deserved nap.<br />n<br />nThe delivery was pretty quick. A total of only 9 pushes, mama got him out in no time. I don’t think it could have gone any more smoothly.<br />n<br />nAs usual, mama is very hungry after the birth, and she ordered up lots of food, which were still waiting on. We’ll go get his big sister in a little while, so she can meet her new, long awaited brother.<br />n<br />nMore pics to come!
