Tahoe Relaxation

We got back from Tahoe yesterday. Good trip, didn’t do much, and that was the point.
n
nSpent a lot of time by the pool and the hot tub with perfect weather. Couldn’t ask for better.
n
nHighlights of the trip were <a href=”https://www.jaworskihouse.com/blog/index.php?/archives/148-Kings-Beach-Bear.html” title=”Kings Beach Bear”>the sighting of the bear, a day trip to Virginia City, and the discovery (new to us) of the <a href=”http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/ltbmu/recreation/visitor-center/” title=”Taylor Creek Visitor Center”>Taylor Creek Visitor Center, operated by the US Forest Service, which has a really, really cool fish viewing area, also called a <a href=”http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/ltbmu/recreation/visitor-center/streampc.shtml” title=”Stream Profile Chamber”>Stream Profile Chamber.
n
nSame day we went to the Taylor Creek site, we also spent time at the adjacent <a href=”http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/ltbmu/recreation/tallac/” title=”Tallac Historic Site”>Tallac Historic Site, which was a getaway for rich folks from the San Francisco Bay Area early in the twentieth century. In addition to checking out the cool old cabins and such, we also spent some time at the beach.
n
nThe company was great too, spending time with cousins from down south, and being really glad they like to cook and are really good at it!
n
nThis was the kind of low key trip I enjoy.
