Boards of Directors According to Welch

I just made a <a href=”http://app.businessweek.com/UserComments/combo_review?action=getComment&productId=39626&reviewId=391088#391088″ title=”comment on business week”>comment</a> about an <a href=”http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/09_04/b4117102356265.htm” title=”business week article”>article</a> presumably written by the former CEO of General Electric, Jack Welch. I’ve always wondered about the responsibility of boards to hire and fire CEOs, and this article gave me the opportunity to ask it in a public forum.<br />n<br />nInteresting how the comments were overwhelmingly against the ideas in the article.
