Fourth of July Parade

This tradition consists of closed off streets through the neighborhood with residents walking, biking or driving in decked out rigs, patriotic to the hilt.<br />n<br />n<a href=”http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaworskihouse/3714378939/” title=”fourthofjuly2009-12 by jaworskihouse, on Flickr”><img src=”http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2453/3714378939_1935701932_m.jpg” width=”240″ height=”180″ alt=”Fourth of July Parade” /></a><br />n<br />nPenny decorated her bike in the morning before the parade, I put on a shirt with a US flag on it, and saddled up the boy dog to participate.<br />n<br />n<a href=”http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaworskihouse/3715190058/” title=”fourthofjuly2009-18 by jaworskihouse, on Flickr”><img src=”http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3482/3715190058_43899181f8_m.jpg” width=”240″ height=”180″ alt=”Fourth of July Parade” /></a><br />n<br />nAs in years past, the local fire department showed up in their truck to cruise the route.<br />n<br />n<a href=”http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaworskihouse/3715190496/” title=”fourthofjuly2009-14 by jaworskihouse, on Flickr”><img src=”http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2617/3715190496_625e6be42b_m.jpg” width=”240″ height=”180″ alt=”Fourth of July Parade” /></a><br />n<br />nGlad we were able to do this again this year. Looking forward to this tradition continuing on for a long, long time!
