I’ve known about Mt Madonna County Park for years. Always thought it would be a cool place to check out. But it being down at the very bottom of the county, it wasn’t easy to keep in mind, or get to.
n
n<a href=”http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaworskihouse/5301919137/” title=”Mt Madonna County Park by jaworskihouse, on Flickr”><img src=”http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5168/5301919137_273654d5b2_m.jpg” width=”240″ height=”180″ alt=”Mt Madonna County Park” />
n
nEarly today, we decided to get away from the stores, take a break from all the holiday stuff. So we drove out there. It was not as abandoned as I thought it would be, given it was the day after Christmas. But there were few campers, and none in the yurts, which is what we wanted to check out.
n
nThey have White Fallow Deer.
n
n<a href=”http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaworskihouse/5302508320/” title=”Mt Madonna County Park by jaworskihouse, on Flickr”>
n
nWe made a resolution to camp at this park some time next year. It was simply beautiful, another prime example of how many great getaways we have so close to home.
n
nCheck out the <a href=”http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaworskihouse/sets/72157625571019041/” title=”mount madonna pictures”>entire set of pictures.
n
n<a href=”http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaworskihouse/5331766132/” title=”Mount Madonna County Park, Flickr”><img src=”http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5204/5331766132_dc61702fb9_m.jpg” width=”174″ height=”240″ alt=”Mount Madonna County Park” />
