Carnivores and Space Rocks

Harold has a cool dinosaur book that we read almost every night before bed. It has a section that gives standard details about the lizard in question, such as what era it lived and if it was a meat eater, plant eater or some combination of both. He makes a bit of a game to look at the pictures of the dinos and figure out if it’s it’s a meat or plant eater, either by it’s teeth, what it’s eating (or hunting), or just by its look.
n
nThere is one illustration of a dinosaur that shows the fateful meteor hitting the earth, the one that changed the future of life on earth around 65 million years ago. I introduced him to the term ‘meteor’. But it was pretty clear very quickly that the term confused him. The word ‘meteor’ sound really close to the term ‘meat eater’. Would you agree?
